"2013 has been another incredible year in the fight against kidney cancer. Advances in research continue to be made, with new therapies on the horizon. Your contributions to the Kidney Cancer Association have played an important role in the progress we have made aimed at the eradication of death and suffering from
renal cancers.
Once again, the KCA sponsored two international medical symposia, attended by more than 1,000 scientists, researchers, and medical professionals. We have collaborated in organizing nearly 100 annual support and education meetings for patients and
their families.
Our outreach through social networks has grown to include nearly 90,000 people who engage with us regularly through Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. Patients and families also continue to share their stories on our new website,
Kidney Cancer Connect.
While we continue to make remarkable progress, kidney cancer remains a disease that is not easily cured. By making a year-end gift, you can help us to increase our research support and to expand our services to patients, their families, and caregivers.
